‘Neo-Traditional’

After finishing high school I chose to take up a tattoo apprenticeship over studying. Spending two years soaking up knowledge was a great introduction into the world of tattooing. Since then I’ve been gratefully provided with opportunities to work in multiple studios in NZ and abroad, enjoying nearly 4 years amongst the hustle and bustle of London, before returning home to NZ in late 2019. 

Working in busy street shops, meeting so many amazing people and artists along my journey, I have been moulded into an artist who not only thrives in my own style of tattooing, but brings a flexibility which I consider a strength to meet specific needs of clients. I bring experience in multiple media types, using time outside of tattooing to create fine art prints, digital art works ranging from label designs to NFTs. If there’s a chance to collaborate with artists or businesses I’m always interested. 

My current focus is to create tattoos unique to the wearer, whether it be a piece to start and finish in a day or large scale work over multiple sessions. As hard as I work to narrow down a particular style, sometimes described as neo traditional, I am always open to new ideas and pathways to push myself and grow further.
